If you are experiencing an emergency, such as suicidal thoughts with a plan to act or have made a suicide attempt, you must call 911 or go to the nearest hospital. This is a requirement, as Sound Mind Mental Health Counseling may not always be available, and emergencies demand immediate attention. We have resources to accommodate clients with moderate levels of distress and aim to be available within 48 hours. Safety is of utmost importance to us, and we believe in transparency about our capabilities and resources, ensuring that we only practice within our means.
